Partnerships designed to go the distance
At the 2025 edition of FTT Embedded Finance & Super-Apps, we sat down with Anat Hoida, VP Global Strategic Partnerships at Marqeta. She shared her excitement about their partnership with Bitpanda, launching a cryptocurrency Visa debit card. It means that cryptocurrency can become part of the day to day expenditures of users across 26 markets (soon to include the UK).
When thinking about working with their strategic partners, Anat outlined 3 key considerations:
- How Marqeta can deliver value across every interaction, understanding their partners’ business strategies and growth plans and supporting them to achieve those goals.
- Ensuring they look proactively to help their partners find solutions to what they want to do or even anticipating what solutions may be needed.
- Using data and analytics to understand their partners’ usage of their platform and enhancing their view of how they can support them now and into the long-term.
